On ‘All Hands Day’, organized regularly, all employees participate in the manufacturing activities. Managers and officers are allocated specific areas of skilled or semi-skilled work and supervised by the skilled workforce. This ensures that every individual can understand and comprehend the various activities at the factory and suggest effective ways of reducing wastage, increasing productivity, and improving the uncompromising safety standards.
Every six months, a cooking competition is organised where employees from various facets participate and create delicious products basis the brief given. This competition brings out the best in each member through their amazing display of creativity, innovation, and team spirit. The kitchen is full of enthusiastic wonder-chefs working together to present a wide range of gourmet dishes made from our own Tasty Bite® products. The event nurtures a sense of camaraderie among the employees of all backgrounds.
Education allowance is given to all workers whose children wish to pursue higher education. Every year, about 14 children of our workmen are covered under this program. We organize an interactive session once every year with all these bright star-eyed kids. Career guidance, factory tour, and fun activities are part of this program wherein the children are made to feel at home with the Tasty Bite® family.
India's biggest walkathon for a cause. A key feature of the event is that it's not just a relay. It is the team spirit, supporting each other every step of the way, as you raise funds for Oxfam's development work in India. In 2018, 16 people (4 teams) had participated in the 100 Km Oxfam Trail Walk, raising a total sum of INR 2.5 Lacs. Year 2019 witnessed a much larger participation from Tasty Bite®; with 56 members (14 teams) raising a total sum of INR 11.2 Lacs to support Oxfam’s CSR initiatives.
Tasty Bite® Cricket League (TBCL) is held twice a year and brings out the spirit of togetherness across the levels. This is a unique program for Tasty Bite® as its not just a fun game but a game that teaches the employee to face though situations, strategic planning & team bonding.

Ladies Day Out is a unique program for all women workforce including workers & management staff organized at Tasty Bite® to inculcate a culture of leadership and upliftment.
Women are equal to men when it comes to training and development at Tasty Bite. This practice is sincerely adhered by promoting women employees to attend the international training programs. Two women in managerial positions currently, have been sponsored by the Company for an international training meet at the US, UK, and the Netherlands.
Tasty Bite® believes that a robust and continuous training program is vital for employees to improve their knowledge, skills, and also to build a fun and knowledge-driven organization.
Every year Tasty Bite® recruits freshers, be it an engineer, food technologist, or an MBA graduate. 'Campus to Corporate' is a program aimed at facilitating a smooth transition of these freshers to the corporate life from their easy going student life. It boosts their personal contribution and performance levels in the organization.
Managers discover and develop their talents to make a better professional contribution to the company or enhance their personal growth. This program reinforces the belief that “We are ordinary people capable of extraordinary performance.” The workshop-based sessions include fun-filled games, out-of-the-box experiences, and relevance of continuous and consistent execution to achieve the strategies laid out. It is also a forum for finalizing annual and long-term business plans. .
This initiative recognizes the leadership qualities of our workers and encourages them to come forward & lead with example. Experts from various industries including Union Leaders are invited to speak about their exemplary career journeys. The program has been initiated into a worker’s ‘Sudhar Group’ in factory. These groups identify and resolve the day to day problems and bring improvement in the system thereby taking the company to greater heights. This initiative has motivated an unionized worker to work as a responsible management professional. It has gathered huge enthusiasm among the workers as they have been given a platform where their ideas can be heard and put forth in front of the Managing Director.
Programs like Essence of Mars, Associate Concepts, Shop Floor Leadership, Personal Effectiveness at Work, Strive for Excellence etc. form a crucial part of our training programs aimed at keeping our employees motivated and abreast with the company’s philosophy & cultural values.
We conduct a series of programs where we encourage managers to read a book on any topic such as a new emerging technology, HR practice, or even market trend. This encourages learning and sharing at a continuous level within the organization. Insightful books like “One Minute Manager” were distributed to shop floor executives, “Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg to young women employees; “Hit Refresh" by Satya Nadella, and “The Goal" by Eliyahu M. Goldratt to all Senior Managers.
At the outset of Covid pandemic, most of the staff were on forced quarantine at their respective homes. During such constrained times, we ensured a disruption-free learning environment by conducting various online training & knowledge-sharing sessions. These sessions not only keep our employees motivated, but also helps in honing their skills in the relevant interest areas.
Associates were also encouraged to subscribe to company sponsored Hobby.Fit online courses to learn new hobbies such as creative writing, sketching, cooking, music etc.
